Spincraft's forming process is ideal for providing missile nose cone, tail cone and mid-body housing assemblies.  Spincraft has extensive experience in providing hardware for major missile programs and offers unique cost saving solutions to complex hardware assemblies. Spincraft's Engineered Solutions include part count reduction and subsequent cost savings while improving the over-all quality.

Nose and tail cone geometries are ideal for Spincraft's shear forming process.  Nose cone centerbodies and mounts are typically spun from high temperature stainless steel (17-7, 17-4) or nickel base alloys (Inconel 625, 718).  The cones are spun on a CNC controlled spinning lathe from a single sheet to net shape without the need for further polishing or preparation of the surface.

The process in inherently cost-effective with proven reliability.
