Joining metal to form complex assemblies takes a combination of skilled welders, carefully controlled procedures, and the proper equipment for the required results. Spincraft has the expertise to meet a broad range of commercial and military specifications with a wide variety of fusion and resistance welding techniques. These processes include tig (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW), both seam and spot resistance welding. All of these processes are Nadcap Approved.
Spincraft welders are skilled and certified (MIL-STD 1595 and ASME Sections VIII, IX) with the capabilities for superior welds in the many metals encountered in producing complex assembles for the industries we serve. Welds are regularly qualified to Military and Commercial standards. Typical metals and allows routinely welded include all grades of stainless steel and aluminum, high-strength nickel alloys, titanium and all ferrous metals.
Resistance welding capabilities at Spincraft include both spot and seam welding for joining thinner gage metals.
Spincraft uses the latest in NDT (non-destructive testing) methods, including liquid penetrant, and x-ray processes to verify the quality of the welds produced. Non-destructive testing standards routinely followed at Spincraft include the most stringent customer and industry requirements.
Procedural controls that run throughout the welding process are essential to producing consistently high quality results. All materials are carefully controlled and monitored. Quality assurance procedures verify the results obtained throughout the welding process.
