Titanium is a preferred material for aerospace applications because of its high sterngth to weight ratio.  However, these same desirable properties create challenges in the forming and fabricating processes. Further complicating processing are limitations to the amount of heat that can be applied during manufacturing without causing undesired metallurgical changes.  The material sensitivity of titanium at high temperatures requires very tightly controlled processing methods.

Over the years, Spincraft  has developed and established the necessary skill and manufacturing procedures to optimize the use of titanium for aerospace applications.  Spincraft has extensive experience in producing complex components and subassemblies with stringent dimensional requirements, from both commercially pure titanium and alloys such as Ti 6AL-4V, Ti 6-2-4-2, and Ti 15-3-3-3.
